For almost 20 years, Dr. Dew has been dedicated to providing state-of-the art specialty health care. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Dew received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from University of Wisconsin in 1987. He completed his internship in 1988 at Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut, West Hartford, CT. During his residency at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine he also earned his Master of Science degree in 1991. From 1991 to 1995, Dr. Dew served as Chief of Staff, Surgical Referral Service, Connecticut Veterinary Centers, West Hartford, CT. During this appointment, in 1993, he was board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons specializing in small animal surgery. In 1995, Dr. Dew moved to Arkansas, where he enjoys the distinction of being the only board certified small animal surgical specialist in the state. He was voted Arkansas Veterinarian of the year in 2003 for service to his community and the veterinary profession.
Dr. Dew attends church at the New Life Church in Russellville and lives in Knoxville, AR with his youngest son. His older son is in the U.S. Navy stationed in Hawaii.
Dr. Dew is a sought-after speaker in the veterinary industry, whose professional speaking engagements have included the TTA Master Class for Kyon in Zurich, Switzerland and the THR Master Class for Kyon in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Dew is a Surgical Symposium Committee member for ACVS and has Chaired a session “My Last 1000 Cases” at ACVS in Chicago in November 2011.
