Cheree Miller, Practice ManagerCheree Miller, Practice Manager

Cheree was recruited by Dr. Dew from a veterinary surgery practice in northern California.  She moved her family out to Arkansas and joined Azzore in September of 2004. Cheree has worked as a manager for 26 years, the last 15 of those in veterinary surgery. Cheree is an active member of the community and in her church, the Russellville Christian Center, and a fitness fanatic. Besides being an animal lover, she is also a big fan of social media and manages our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Pam Morgan, Veterinary TechnicianPam Morgan, Veterinary Technician

Looking back on my 30 year career as a veterinary technician, I’d definitely say I’ve had the good fortune to work in a field which I truly enjoy. After graduating from the technician program in Champaign, Illinois I worked for a small animal general practice in Anchorage, Alaska for 13 years. If you’ve never been to Alaska I highly recommend you put it on your travel “to-do” list. In 2000 I moved back to the lower-48, Kansas specifically, and spent the next 4 years working for an all-feline practice. In 2006,  I made the move to Russellville and joined Dr. Dew and the staff of Azzore Veterinary Specialists. When not at work I can usually be found with my Quarter Horse mare “HiHo” or diddling around in my flower bed.

Kelly Tucker, Sterile Resources Technician

My name is Kelly and I’ve worked with the Dew Crew since December 2010. My pets include 6 chickens which I refer to as “my girls” and about 40 bucking broncs which my husband and I raise for local rodeos, National Championship Chuckwagon Races and our annual Arkansas Children’s Hospital benefit rodeo which we have been putting on for 21 years, and going! When not working at Azzore, you can find me working with my partner flipping houses and any other construction job that comes up. We love building with our hands, which, if you were to see our cedar log home, you would understand why.

crystal-knickCrystal Knick, Client Service Coordinator

My name is Crystal and I joined the Dew crew in November 2015. I answer phones, schedule appointments, greet clients and patients and take the “before” pictures of Azzore’s patients for Facebook and Twitter. I was born in California, and raised here in Arkansas. I have two little ones who I refer to as my babies, Zoey Lynn and Tiger Lilly. They are quite a pair and always keep me on my toes. When I’m not at Azzore, you can find me working part-time in the Walmart Pharmacy. In my spare time, I like to hangout with my boyfriend, Jacob and spend  time with my family. I enjoy capturing new memories and I never go anywhere without my camera. I am very thankful to be apart of the Dew Crew.

erica-whortonErica Whorton, Client Service Coordinator

Erica joined the Dew Crew in September 2016.  She answers the phones, schedules appointments and greets our clients and patients when they arrive at Azzore. She was born and raised in Russellville and is an active member in her church, the Russellville Christian Center. Erica graduated from Arkansas Tech with Hospitality Administration degree. So in her free time, she can be found looking for new ideas for events or planning parties for family and friends.

KateKate Kersen, Night Nurse

Kate joined the Azzore team in 2014 as our Night Nurse. Once day shift is “officially outta here” Kate takes over monitoring our overnight guests, taking hourly TPRs, and making regular rounds to make sure everyone is comfortable and doing well.

Lou Ann Butler, Transporter

Lou Ann has worked in different positions at Azzore over the years. Her Azzore career began in 2004 as our Sterile Resource Technician. She worked in that capacity until her husband was transferred to Mississippi in 2009. When the Butler’s returned to Arkansas three years later, Lou Ann rejoined the Azzore family — this time as our  transport driver. She drives patients who have had surgery here in Russellville, back to Memphis TN, or Springdale, AR.

Sue joined us in Feb 2014.  She was “kidnapped” from Maine by her husband Eddie in 1996.  They have two children, Emily and Jonathan, and 3 dogs (all furry rescues).  Sue was a practicing CPA but let her license become “inactive” to raise her children.    She has serviced a handful of accounting clients for 17 years from home and most recently worked as a tax preparer for HR Block.  Not one to sit still, she volunteers for several organizations/causes as well as her church. She is grateful to be a part of the Azzore team.
