Derby wins!!!
A 95# 3yr old Great Pyrenees mix. He was referred to us by Dr. Jon Southerland of Kiehl Avenue Animal Clinic for acute onset of right rear lameness several weeks ago. Dr. Southerland identified a right CCL injury. This is similar to an ACL injury in a football player. Dr. Dew suggested a TTA (tibial tuberosity advancement) surgery to correct this problem. He performed the surgery and Derby’s prognosis is good for healing, improved function and decreased progression of degenerative joint disease (arthritis). He will need to be confined and exercise restricted to achieve optimum recovery.
Congratulations to all the fans of Derby!!!
Azzore history in the making!!
