Buddy!!!
PATIENT SUMMARY: Buddy is a 16.8# 8yr old Shih Tzu. His referring veterinarian is Dr. Ken Smith of Parkway Animal Hospital. Buddy had a corneal rupture due to being scratched in the eye by another housemate. This had happened about a week prior, and was now infected. Buddy must have done something the other baby didn’t like too much!
TREATMENT: Dr. Mario Hodgson examined Buddy’s eye and determined that he needed a Conjunctival Pedical Flap. This was done, and a series of eye drops and medications were given to Buddy to aid in his healing and recovery. He is to come back in a week for a recheck to see how he is doing.
Congratulations Buddy!
